The laureate in the EDU Inspiration 2013 contest

High level of education in Lukow's county.

On the 11th of December 2013 in Lukow's conference hall Deputy District head Krzysztof Tymoszuk, the Mayor of Lukow Dariusz Szustek and the Deputy Mayor dr Marcin Mateńko thanked to all teachers and headmasters, who took part in the Study Visits project. The project's theme was ,,How do communicational-informational technologies support process of teaching and learning'' and it won the first prize in the EduInspirations 2013 Succes Stories competition. The competition was organized by the Fundation of Development of the Education System.

The laureate in the EDU Inspiration 2013 contest

Our collective project has succeeded! It has been awarded and ranked among the winners in a competition organized by the Foundation for the Development of Education.





This distincion seems to be treated not only as a recognition of our schools Complex of
Schools in Tuchowicz- the organizer and mover and Stanisław Konarski Lower- Secondary School no 2 - the coordinator, but also as a recognition of our local education and teachers. From there, we want to congratulate all school headmasters and their teachers for our common success.

On 21st November in the Primate's Palace in Warsaw took place a festive gala summarizing two decades of the Foundation's for Development of Education activity combined with the presentation of awards in EDU Inspiration competition.

The Polish President Bronisław Komorowski took the honorary patronage of the gala.

An important plank was ceremony of prize-giving for the EDU Inspiration competition's
laureates, of which primary purpose is to disseminate and promote the results of the project and experiences of beneficiaries of programmes coordinated by the Foundation.

Our school was the coordinator of the project refering to the Study Visits in October 2012. The subject was: '' How the information and computer technologies help out the process of learning and teaching'', it has been notified and honoured among many other projects. The award is mainly a recognition for the level of Łukowian education and appreciation the commitment of our teachers- emphasise the coordinator of the project Artur Baranowski.

This venture was organized in close cooperation of the Complex of Schools in Tuchowicz and the headmistress Bożena Stępniewska-Szewczak.

How ICT techniques improve teaching and learning processes?
Classes were held in schools, municipalities Stanin including the organizer of the project ZS in Tuchowiczu selected kindergartens, schools, urban - Łukowian primary and lower secondary schools and in district schools.
The study visit was attended by experts in the fields of education, vocational education and training in 10 countries: Spain, Hungary, Macedonia, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and France.

The awards event was attended by over 200 representatives of the central government, cooperating with the Foundation representatives of educational institutions, NGOs, universities representation and representatives of embassies.
The official part of the gala opened the General Director of the Foundation Mirosław Marczewski and invited prominent guests: The Minister of Education and The Minister of Science and Higher Education in Poland.
During the gala, a short film was shown to promote  information about FRSE, which is a summary of existing films and recordings created by years of activity of the institution. Gathered at the ceremony guests will be able to watch the jubilee exhibition of photographs illustrating the wide area of activities of the Foundation.
In the  gala were musical accents. For the gathered audience starring Alice Wołyńczyk and Maciej Frąckiewicz, talented young musicians performing in the country and abroad. Both are graduates of the Erasmus programme.
This year's gala is not only a feast of the Foundation, but also an attempt to highlight the huge role and importance of the functioning of the european educational programmes in Poland. Their flagship are now millions of beneficiaries who thanks to the financial  and organizational support were able to learn new skills, realize their passions, take study abroad, meet people from all over the world and improve professional competence.
